Denpasar- PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia (PHI) and its subsidiaries won 12 awards at The 9th Public Relations Indonesia Awards (PRIA) 2024, a prestigious national event in the field of public relations. The Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia, Asmono Wikan, presented the awards alongside the jury at an event held in Denpasar, Bali, on Thursday (7/3).

This year, PRIA 2024 received 699 entries from 219 institutions, agencies, and corporations, competing in eight main categories: Owned Media, Digital Channels, Crisis Management, Annual Reports, CSR Communication Programs, Public Relations Programs (PR), PR Departments, and Most Popular in Print Media 2023. The event theme for this year was 'Communication that Inspires Civilization.

Senior Manager Relations at PHI, Handri Ramdhani, stated that the 12 awards received by PHI and its subsidiaries demonstrate the quality of the company's programs, products, communication channels, and publications, supported by the competencies of its personnel. 

"Furthermore, this achievement is a manifestation of successful collaboration and synergy with stakeholders through innovative CSR programs that provide shared value and benefits," added Handri.

Founder and CEO of PR Indonesia, Asmono Wikan, revealed that those selected as winners were individuals who could present fresh ideas and take the initiative to be more innovative and creative. One aspect of evaluation that received serious attention from the judges was structured communication strategies for PR programs. "We also appreciate the participants from previous years who have demonstrated improvement in quality in their participation this year. The PR program innovations implemented are increasingly relevant to the needs and target audience," said Asmono.

According to one of the judges, Fardila Astari, this year's participants generally succeeded in presenting specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, time-bound (SMART) objectives connected to issues and solutions to those problems.

This year, PHI and its subsidiaries received awards for CSR Communication Programs, PR Programs, Crisis Management, Annual Reports, Owned Media, and Best Presenter PRIA. The details of the awards received are as follows:

1. PT Pertamina Hulu Mahakam: CSR Communication Program Category, Community-Based Development Subcategory, Silver Winner - Empowering and Prosperity for Vulnerable Groups through Mahakam Winners Program (Women Entrepreneurs).
2. PT Pertamina EP Sangasanga Field: CSR Communication Program Category, Community-Based Development Subcategory, Bronze Winner - Ecotourism Sungai Hitam Lestari.
3. PT Pertamina EP Sangatta Field: CSR Communication Program Category, Community-Based Development Subcategory, Bronze Winner - Sangatta Kelulut Garden.
4. PT Pertamina EP Sangatta Field Semberah Field: CSR Communication Program Category, Community-Based Development Subcategory, Bronze Winner - Tamu Sarah: Sari Alam Semberah Honey Farmer.
5. PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia: PR Program Category, Corporate PR Program Subcategory, Silver Winner – Integrated Communication Products and Channels Communication Relations & CID PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia.
6. PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia: Crisis Management Category, Pre-Crisis Subcategory, Bronze Winner.
7. PT Pertamina Hulu Indonesia: Annual Report Category, Annual Report Subcategory, Bronze Winner.
